Keeping up with time

The only constant in this world is change as some might put it that way. Today we are not debating on that quote but what I want to point out is keeping up with time. Take for example, someone from Kodak that invented the digital camera in 1975 had filed for bankruptcy in 2012. Another classic example is mobile phone giant Nokia, where are they today? I am not saying we should just follow the crowd or succumb to peer pressure or things of that sort but as long as moral standards are not compromised, I do think we need to keep up with time. What are your thoughts?

yes, we have to adapt to the environment and keep up with times if we don't want to turn "obsolete"
