Thomas Edison was working hard. He was working more inventing something or the other. His inventions totally revolutionized the world The electric bulb, sound recording, the form of moving pictures. The surprising thing is that he had little formal schooling. But his intelligence and his quest for knowledge and knowing things did not require any schooling.
He worked hard. He was working day and night doing something or the other. The science has fascinated his desire to learn more and more. He was not sleeping properly. Sometimes he was sleeping on the worktable so that he can continue the work without any break. Most of the times he was sleeping with his dress on.

Maybe back then that was how it was. I know my father I think only went to school up to 8th grade or below he did very well in life. I do not know what it was like where he grew up. He was born in Bessarabia by Russia. It was Moldavia where he was from. I never knew anything about his life there. He came to the United States I think when he was 21.
