Not Again?!!

Yep. Again. I got two almost in a row. First it was supposedly from the Treasury Office in DC but the number was Seattle, Washington. Then I got an automated one saying that I needed to call some guy from some serious sounding office. Forgot the name. This one from Arizona. Telling me they were suing me, or my daughter, and I had better call them back. I get one at least once a month. Oh, the clincher was this one from Seattle I got this morning. Some lady that couldn't even speak coherent English told me that the Treasury was offering me $9,000.00 that I didn't have to pay back. I told her very firmly that she needed to call someone who would actually believe that and not to call here anymore. Thought it strange that they offered that amount it being what I need for my dentures. What's with the Treasury today? Anyone else get ones like this? I know they are scams but they make me laugh.I'm retired, all I have is time on my hands and I love to harass these idiots.

@celticeagle I don't mess with them. I got a call from a woman and as soon as she started in on her spiel, I slammed the phone down. I wonder if she got the message this time.

@just4him .....I figure I will nip in the bud on the first or second call. I answer it and tell them how it is and to take me off their list. That way I get my jollies and the call backs are ended.

i tell them to drop the check in the mail, if one ever appears I let the bank handle it, to be sure it is real, and not get me into issues, so far they always process them and then start fraud proceedings on wherever it came from, no harm to me, amuses me
