it is generally the situation prevailing in the Philippines. Mr. Duterte the President t of Philippines has taken a decision to put an end to the drug trade in his country. The people thought earlier that it was only a decision taken as a president of the Country . They took him as only a new president like other earlier Presidents who made such statements many times and vacated their office taking rest at their residences. THE WAR AGAINST DRUG IS NOT SUFFICIENT . MR. DUTERTE SHOULD PUT AN END TO THESE DRUGS WITHOUT WAITING FOR U.S. ASSISTANCE WHO HAS NO FEELINGS TOWARDS THE YOUTH AND TEENAGERS OF PHILIPPINES. HE SHOULD DEAL WITH THE SITUATION WITH AN IRON HAND UNMINDFUL OF THE CRITICISM THE NEIGHBOURING COUNTRIES ARE MAKING WITH \ FASHIONABLE STATEMENTS. In the Philippines, the drugs are sold like openly on the street.s. The younsters and other teenagers are becoming addicts and are becoming anti-social elements. Theis is making the society sapless. Now Mr. Duterte waged a war against this problem the country is facing now. He ordered killings of the pushers and other drug peddlers. Many are now appreciating for his firm decision. They are feeling the beauty of the society. He also has reqested the assistance of U.S in his fight against drugs. But the U.S is not coming forward for the best reasons known to it. The Word Health Organization is instead of taking an active part is advising him to be lenient and not coming forward. Why? The efforts and instructions of the WHO are confined to only paper and adding stuff to the dustbin. jAt least now the w.H.O should wake up and feel its existence in fight against the drugs. It should send teams to Philippines and serve the people taking up effective counselling. The U.N has totally lost its significance. It should send its troops and assist Mr. Duterte. Otherwise, these two International Organsations will remain as only decorative organzations and lose their respect. i

There's a hidden agenda as to why they hate the President. A President who is not a puppet to the West and has shown that he is smart politician.

Of all the years I've known you, we have never really agreed on any issue whatsoever; yet here & now you have shown us some clear & original insights inline with my own. Would you care to elaborate?

@veganbliss I didn't even understand it until now. It seems the US or the west in general is also interested in the oil, and other resources in the disputed islands. Not to mention, my country is the only pawn available that can be push against china, despite the fact we are weak. Despite of the trainings, for some reason it has not benefitted our military because the weapons used are good for the US navy. As for the President, he's been a known leftist. In fact a former celebrity predicted that duterte will win, but because she claims the CIA would allow it which is nuts and this was a few months back.
