So the other thing that happened...

...or, "things"... I left work a little late because, again, the teachers were discussing things, which included the lady I ride with. So, when I we finally left, I asked said lady if she would mind dropping me off at the senior living place so that I could drop off my papers to register for the craft show. She said she would, as soon as she picked up her grandson. So we stopped at the high school, and her grandson was nowhere to be seen. My "driver" called her daughter and said what was going on, then we drove around the block the high school was on and there was no sign of him. So, "driver" called her daughter again, a bit irked that her grandson wasn't where he was supposed to be, and they agreed that he could walk home. After that it was straight down the road to the Senior place, though she passed it, and I thought we could get in another way--turned out we couldn't--so she just turned around and went back. I went inside, and said I wanted to speak to (the lady I had been emailing with). The lady I spoke to at the desk "paged" her, and within a few minutes she was there. She looked over my papers, and basically said I was in ! I am excited, but I know that I have a lot of work to do before the fifteenth -- getting everything together and priced and whatnot, as well as asking Mom if I can borrow a tablecloth. I probably won't get any work done tomorrow, as I'm working from 7:30a.m. to 4:00 pm. so I am going to be dead on my feet when I get home, but I had better get on it on Saturday. After that I'll have a week to prepare.
