What a great film.
Anyway. I just had a thought.
What would have happened in the original film if Leia had fallen in love with Luke?
Just speculating.
But surely this is a chance for all you Trekkie's out there to use your imagination.

I was thinking the same thing! I was watching Return of the Jedi the other night, and during the scene with Luke, Leia and Han Solo in the Ewoks' home in the Endor forest, I had the same thought. What if Luke never figured out that Leia was his sister, and instead told her he was in love with her? And then what would she have done, since there was an interesting love triangle between her, Luke and Han?

I don't think she knew at that point he was her brother.
If they had consummated the relationship they would have produced a super Jedi.
The mind boggles where Han would come in!!

@saulgoodman See, that's what I was thinking...if Luke and Leia would have hooked up, they would have produced an unstoppable Jedi as offspring! lol

And still named him or her Anikin.
Who at that time wasn't known to either of them because Kenobi never did disclose who Luke's father was.
So Kenobi knew they were siblings but didn't deter Luke from fancying her.
Or have I got that wrong

I think a lot of people were.
He looked ok for his age in the film from last year. If I look as good as him when I am as old as he is now I will be going ok
