To be honest with you, I had doubts if this plants was ever going to grow because it has experience months of infestation from different insects.
Then after ignoring it for another couple of days, I went back again and saw an OKRA over it. I was tempted to sake it but I figured it might grow even more.
It's just two of them here, I used to have four of them but others died because of too much rain.

You could make a non toxic pest repellent with peppermint oil, garlic, water and a little vinegar @Letranknight2015 it should work on most pests.

That's great that it recovered from bug infestations. I would eat that now, before some other bug finds it!

I wouldn't eat this yet @petatonicsca since not sure how far this okra could grow.

@Letranknight2015 Did you know you can keep bugs off plants organically by spraying them with dilute dish soap-- about two drops of soap and a cup of water? Also you can add hot pepper sauce, a couple of drops, and a little sugar. The soap kills bugs on the plant, hot pepper makes the bugs not want to bite it and the sugar makes it stick on the plant so you don't have to spray more than once a day or so. I learned this from our school gardener.

@Letranknight2015 they have to be let open in light but unfortunately as you said excessive water has devastated them.
