Dinner tonight -- meatball subs

We're having meatball subs for dinner to use up our surplus of hot dog buns (I just didn't want to eat hot dogs today). What's a good thing to serve on the side with that? I think I have salad fixings in the fridge, plus there's always frozen veggies. Wish I had stuff for making cole slaw.

A salad would be nice. Homemade Cole slaw would be awesome if you had the stuff to make it. It's been awhile since I had a meat ball sub. It sounds delicious.

I realized I had all of the ingredients here already -- leftover sauce from the other night, meatballs in the freezer, and I even have black olives and mozzarella cheese if anyone would like to add those to the sandwich.
