This is how my friend quit smoking

My friend and his family had a travel to USA. He was a heavy smoker, but when he was in USA, he saw many places that are forbidden to smoke. And of course the punishment is high. This is why my friend tried not to smoke because he was afraid of being punished. After this trip, he quit smoking successfully

punishment is high here too at prohibited areas, didn't stop me from smoking. just smoke at the right places or don't get caught. ok, I know, smoking is bad for health....

I know how serious the punishment is in Singapore. My son ever sipped a little water from his bottle when we waited for the subway. When we realized it was prohibited, we were so worried about it since it would be an expensive fine

One can quit any addiction if has a strong will power otherwise may not. Smoking is injurious for health and should be left as soon as possible.
