Okay, It's Cold Out There

I got a rude awakening this morning when I walked out of the house to go to the pool. It was 6 AM, pitch dark out yet, and COLD. My car windows were frosted over. I had to use the scraper on them, but first I had to get the doors open. It rained all day yesterday so the doors were frozen and I had to forcibly open them, and then use the scraper so I could see, but even at that hour it wasn't perfect. My front window was still frosted and I did the number one no-no to try to get the frost off the front window - I used windshield washer and that immediately caused them to frost even more in the cold air. It took a bit to warm up the inside of the car and get those windows all so I could properly see out of them to drive. It's a good thing it's not far to the YWCA where I swim every day. Tomorrow I'm wearing my winter coat instead of my fleece lined fall hoodie. The white one seen in the picture I used to have for my profile with my great granddaughter if you remember seeing that one before I changed it some time ago. So now it's time to switch jackets and turn the heat on full time in the apartment as well. Are you ready for winter? I think it's here. It sure felt like it this morning. How about you? Are you colder than normal this morning? I'm not complaining, I love this time of year, just surprised by the suddenness of it. Thanks for reading.

I am spending my winter in my home country. So I escape the cold weather in Germany. I will be missing the snow though.

It's amazing that once you have a taste of snow, you miss it. I know when I lived in California and Guam, I missed it a lot.

People are never satisfied, no matter what the weather is like. I'm always ready to get rid of the heat and get on to winter, my favorite season of the year.

Our weather has been going back and forth. I'm not sure if I'm ready for winter, but I am enjoying the fall season after the hot summer we just had. I think I know what coat you're talking about, btw.

@just4him Gotcha, pretty sure I know the one then. And yep, I told my family I'm gonna be washing the winter coats this week, so if they can be thrown into the washing machine - give them to me and we'll get this done.

No coldness here. Mostly warm in Florida but when it does cold Floridians really feel the cold. Stay warm.

It is colder in the morning too here but it gets warmer later on. I hate to wear a winter coat. You are very courageous to go out that early in the cold to go swimming. Brrr.

Yeah it was cold here too still is. I started to go out on my patio for a few minutes this morning, nope no way. Suppose to be like that all day guess it's a good day to clean and work on some of my art,lol.

Hi my friend! It is not yet cold here in the Philippines. It is still hot. I do love to experience the winter season even though I get cold easily. It is in my bucket list to be able to make a snow man.

Winter has hit the area that you live in. It is suppose to just rain here. If it snows that is very rare.

It was a touch of cold.But right now it is warming up some.I think that the weekend will be much cooler. This is fall.Anything can happen

I've only scraped them once so far, though it has been getting colder. Though this past week while I was on vacation, we had warmer weather here, but it was favorably cool on Washington Island.

I'm sure a lot of people are still wearing shorts and tanks. I'm sitting here in a hoodie with the heater on behind me. My office is the coldest room in the apartment.

@just4him For the first time this year we turned our heater on. It wasn't because we were cold it was my mom that was cold. I am loving this cooler weather.

I stepped out and it felt wonderful to me. It was 42 this morning. So a little warmer than where you are in Green Bay. I love cold weather. Have a blessed day.

I love it too. I won't complain about the cold, unless I'm chilled to the bone and can't get warm, but that doesn't happen often. I'm waiting for the first snowflakes

I was just surprised by how cold it was that morning. Now I'm getting used to it. Fall is here in all its glorious colors. I hope you have a wonderful blessed day.
