Random Poetry Before Bed

The sound of the whirring fan As he gazes upon the moonlit night Before retiring to bed Thinking beyond the morning light Laying the head on the pillow The wondering mind recalling the billow Shall the wee hours bring forth rain Will the rain wash away the pain Is it really true the feeling of agony Or is it just really a cry of sympathy And so the soldier marches on No longer mindful whether it's dream or reality

Thank you very much. I always try to pen it down if not by the time I wake up I don't think I can remember a fraction of it....maybe no time to recall any of it due to the hectic life style
