~Bad Decisions Are So Easy To Make!~

Oh it would have been so easy to just say yes! I wanted it so bad and so did he. It was everything we wanted actually. 
And we are both so desperate at this point!
Ugh, bad decisions are too easy at times...but we resisted the temptation!
It was an SUV, low payments monthly, cold AC, 3rd row seats and a DVD player already in it for the kids! 
But the mileage was where the catch came in...218,000 miles on it! Dang it! So close to getting what we wanted and needed but it would've been a bad choice. So we said no. =(
I hope we find the perfect vehicle for our family soon. We need something big enough and nice. I need out of this house for a bit too!!

@LovingMyBabies I would do some research before buying anything but a Toyota, far more reliable than the Expedition.

You made the right decision to turn it down! That's a lot of miles, and unfortunately you never know how that vehicle was treated over the course of those 218,000 miles! God will reward you for your patience! Something good will come along!

@moffittjc Thank you. It was too many miles when we don't have the money to replace another vehicle if something were to happen.

@LovingMyBabies Are there any social service agencies in Jax that accepts donated vehicles, then fixes them up and sells them cheap to deserving families? There is a place like that here in Gainesville called the Dignity Project. I wonder if there is something similar in Jax?

Im lucky im alone and just minutes from the bus station and railway station so i never have to ask for a ride.I too wish for a car but im not taking anything in instalment,too expensive in the end so im waiting till i can afford it fully.

That looks like a nice vehicle; however, you took the right decision, a high milage is not a good sign of a good vehicle. I hope you are able to find the car you are looking for.

Most of us are really good at making bad decisions. However, as the bad choices are what seem to be in front of us most of the time-

That was a wise decision. It sounds to me like that auto was all used up, and had the potential for a lot of repair bills.
