Note-taking

The advantage of taking notes is that the actions of listening, interpreting and transferring the words through the hand to paper as notes are the best way of remembering facts and ideas. It has been shown that students who take notes, even if they never look at the notes afterwards, remember 40% more information than those who don't take notes. Given the above advantage, I cannot think of a single disadvantage of taking notes, unless it be the fact that many students need to learn the art of successful and efficient note-taking.

I think note taking helps during the shcool and college a lot.
