The time has come for me to say goodbye for three days. I've tried to get as many notifications done as possible, however, my computer - Chip Jr. - must not like the fact I'm going to leave him either for three days as he's been acting up terrible this morning. Call it a computer temper tantrum.
So I'm hoping the three days will calm the computer down and it will work to optimum performance on my return.
I am completely packed, garbage is taken care of, I have my reading glasses and all chargers for phone and camera packed. I'm taking two jackets with me, my winter one just in case it's colder than anticipated. That's the one thing I should have taken on the women's retreat as it was very cold. So I'm going prepared this time.
We're going to take our time getting to the ferry as there are things to see along the way as well. I'm really looking forward to this. My excitement is at peak level at the moment. I don't think I forgot anything. I'll just change these glasses when I log off, and everything will be good.
I hope you have a good three days while I'm gone and I will once again be playing catch-up when I get back. I was hoping to have all the notifications done for October 14 before I left, but that didn't happen.
My friend just called, she's heading out her door and will be here very soon.

I think Chip Jr. missed me. He's been behaving pretty good for the most part since I got back. He's had a chip on his shoulder though and let me know he didn't like being left alone for so long and gave me a couple bits of trouble, but nothing major.

How far is the place you are going to ?
Please take pictures and start a discussion when you come back, showing all the photos from the trip, tell us some adventures.
I'm opposing to @sugartoes, Please, talk to as many strangers as you can, get friendly with them. It will open many opportunities to get friends, tell interesting stories and more. Every person is a whole world on it's own.
About critters, I'm with @sugartoes, Watch out from parasites, like mosquitoes that carry eggs of parasites, flies, ticks, leeches...check yourself and your family members as you go in the outdoors.

@sugartoes Well, caution steps must be taken when talking with strangers, but, if, for example, they meet some cute couples or some elders, who just hang out at the beach, they can sure talk with them.
Not to expose too much private information, but, they can start with "what a nice hotel here, isn't it ?", "I just love that weather"...
I don't think they have to avoid talking with strangers totally.
Would you like every stranger to AVOID talking with YOU when you go out on a vacation ?

@sugartoes If I talk with someone, I watch out not to tell private information about myself, like, where I live, what I have, so, the stranger won't try to steal things from me, I can see if the person is nice or just pretending. I still suspect people even when I think good about them. I try to watch them when they don't think I'm around.
What do you think ?

@sugartoes They were blurred, some were doubles, and some did not capture what I was trying to get a picture of. On the ferry back to the mainland my friend took the camera for me to get the close up picture of the lighthouse on Plum Island as we passed and instead got three shots of the car next to us.
