Ever Heard About Methuselah Gene?

My late grandmother was just 4 feet and 4 inches in height and she lived till age 96! I have the feeling that she inherited from her late parents the so-called Methuselah gene.
What is Methuselah gene? By the way, according to the bible Methuselah was the grandfather of Noah. Methuselah was a small man (short). He lived till the ripe age of 969! It is believed that he was the oldest man that ever lived on earth.
Methuselah gene is a gene that short people inherit from their small parents. It is a gene that makes one live long. This seems true with Japanese women whose average life span is 86 years. Most of them must have this incredible gene.
Do you think you have the Methuselah gene? I wish and pray (I am just 5'4" in height) that I have this amazing gene to live long enough to see the first extraterrestial to visit earth.

@antonbunot 36 ! Sobra naman ( exag ) he he he . Actually i just look 45 plus . With my eyebags and crows feet when i smile , i am already old .
But anyway , eating pork ? I seldom eat pork and only the lean part . Though , with lechon , in mderation . Yes, i avoid stress and depression indeed because i know they can make us grow old overnight and give us cancer .
Though , i am a foodie. I like eating burgers , fries and fried chcken though every payday only , or once a week . Do you think that is harmul to my health ?

@SIMPLYD hehehe . . That was how I looked at you in the picture with those old ladies beside you - - 36 years old! 
Eating junk foods once in a while is not harmful, I guess. I also drop by MacDo once in while.

@SIMPLYD You are 56 years old but physically you look 36! So, I am sure you have the abovementioned gene. Slow down eating pork. Exercise by walking and dancing. Eat more vegetables and fruits. Avoid stress and depression. How to avoid them?! I am not going to mention the "how, how, the carabao" coz you already know my usual line!

It is so interesting, and can see a lot of short people who had lived so long! I also wish I have it so I can see what the future is in store for us!

I really am not aware of Methuselah gene and what is the source of this. Methuselah was mentioned in the latter part of Genesis 5 but nothing about his height was mentioned there but yes indeed he lived till 969 years, the longest ever in the history of mankind.
Whether Methuselah gene is true or not, no worries I will pray you live forever not only to fulfill your desire to see the first extraterrestial but because the world needs more laughter that you alone could bring Isn't that nice my friend?

My mom is 101 and is only 5 feet tall so maybe it is in her, I guess we will never know for sure.

I am five foot ten inches so I am not short. But my family members live into their late 90's and 100's.

My mother was 89 when she passed away. Her height was 5'11", my mother in law also passed away at 89. She was about 5'9". Neither of them would be classed as short, but still lived to a ripe old age. My father inlaw was only 58 years old when he passed away. He was 6'2" tall.
