That guy is wrong...

Because I smoked a marijuana yesterday, and I didn't even kick the cat.
Well, not on purpose anyway...
I did trip over the cat a few times, but that was because the cat kept insisting on walking where my feet were going.
Aaron and Tabitha have a cat named Lelo...and I made the mistake of petting it.
Lelo seems to think a petting means "I don't have anything at all to do with my life today, so I shall devote all of my attention to you".
So back and forth across the barn...up on the stage and then back down the stage...I even had a moment where I thought he was going to come up the ladder after me. 
I love cats...I'm sure everyone knows that, I talk about Scar all the time...but Lelo...he's one of those cats that will...not...stop. 
You wouldn't believe how many times I had to remove him from on top of the mixing console yesterday...even worse than Scar wanting to stand on my computer keyboard all the time.
And not bothered in the least by loud music. I thought once I fired the system up and it got noisy, he'd leave...nope.
I'm just glad there will be a lot of other people there tonight...I'm sure someone will make the mistake of petting the cat, and then they can deal with him all night.

@JolietJake LOL! My cat is a licker, too; I used to resist it, but then I let her, thinking if I let her do it a couple of times, she would stop. NOPE! Usually it is my hands, but any exposed skin is fair game. Her licks usually mean "pet me".

Lelo is one of those extremely affectionate cats. And a licker. When you pick him up, he nuzzles into your neck and starts licking like crazy.

No, he gets quite a bit from the kids...he just decided I was new, and he'd take advantage of having a cat lover around

@JolietJake Yes indeed. Our cat and dog did that to each other. But doing that to humans I now know they do that too

Lelo sounds a lot like my dog! Lol. She never leaves anyone alone no matter how much love and attention she gets. I always have to put her up when I have guests here so they don't get annoyed by her.

I love cats but over affectionate ones can get on your nerves rather quickly. Sounds like he really had a thing for you.

Lelo knew you were busy, and he wanted to make sure you got your priorities straight. He is the priority. He knew your mind was elsewhere and so was determined to get get your focuse narrowed, to just him.

It's been a long time since I have had one like that, Scar wants to be held for about 3 minutes every 5 days or so, other than that he doesn't care for it. Lilo about drove me nuts.
