Doomsday IV: Nuclear War

More than likely it would be a US/Russian conflict. Russia would send IBM's (Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles) to explode 300 miles into the air to cause electro-magnetic pulses that would explode electronic devices across the globe which would shut down traffic, airplanes and communications. Both countries would then fire 15,000 nuclear bombs at each other that would only take 10-30 minutes to reach their targets; first of which would be at major, military installations. Russia would have one advantage over the US as they have not only underground missiles but also above ground missiles that are transportable. These missiles are 140,000 times more powerful than the bombs that struck Nagasaki and Hiroshima in 1945. In the US, the White House and Pentagon would be hit first with 500 kilotons and temperatures within 1 mile of the hit would reach temperatures of 10 million degrees causing a blast pressure that would blow apart buildings and ripping skin off the bones, third degree burns and blinding people. 300,000 would be dead instantly and in Moscow, 80 warheads would hit killing 1 million. 15 minutes after the strike people would be heading to underground shelters like the Atlas Silo in Kansas where it has been converted into one million dollar apartments where 70 people have 5 years of food and water. Meanwhile, Russia is aiming at military underground silos and the US can't even scramble their B2 Stealth Bombers as they're hit on the tarmac. Russia sends 800 kilotons that hits Rome with a 3-mile blast zone killing 25 million with Russia now concentrating on major population centers. Within 2 hours after the strikes, 2,000 bombs have hit killing 10's of millions of people. One year after the strike radioactive fallout (nuclear winter) causes radiation sickness; a slow death, which would kill for decades like the Chernobyl incident. The skies would go dark for about 20 years killing 200 million from starvation. Some countries like Argentina, Brazil, South Africa and Australia would be safer areas to go. 20 years after the strikes, 1/2 the planet would be in ruins and 90% of the population would be dead. The planet would start to thaw from the nuclear winter, the skies would clear and the population could start to grow again. 100 years after the strikes, weeds would have overgrown a lot of cities and refugees would start to migrate. There would be 1,000 to 10,000 possible survivors of this nuclear war event. Would you be a survivor? Source: History channel. If you search, you will see that a group of people never quit Chernobyl, they stayed there with their animals (pigs, hens, cows), they ate their veggies and eggs and they are still there, in good health... I trust nobody anymore.

@nanette64 Politicians are all liars and the media write what the politicians allow them to write, or what they want we believe.
