The Sunday Funnies - One thing I like to enjoy of a Sunday morning, along with that bowl of Cheerios and sliced bananas, is a look through the news pages. Today's news items included some good laughs. Here are two of the funny items. From the news I learned that the Republican Party's presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has been once again accused of deviant behavior toward even more females. They say he did. He says he did not. One cartoon had it that if this behavior continues on Donald Trump's part, the Republican Party is going to have to change its avatar from the elephant to the toad. The reason for this being that every time Donald Trump kisses a pretty girl it turns into an ugly toad. If that is true, then our world will soon be completely overrun with toads because of the huge number of pretty girls who have accused him of kissing them. Toad after toad after toad. What are we to do with all of these toads? Here in Texas we have a member of the U,S. Congress who has been elected and re-elected year after year. Her name is Sheila Jackson Lee and her claim to great and widespread fame is that she often fails to remove her foot from her jaws when she provides us with some pronouncement or commentary on matters of importance. Sheila Jackson Lee today lamented that it was disgraceful the way that "Wikipedia" had tapped into Democrat Party candidate, Hillary Clinton's hidden Internet computer server and made its eMail files public. Evidently, Congressional Representative Lee does not know the difference between the Internet's public and free encyclopedia, "Wikipedia," and "Wikileaks," the outfit bossed by renegade, Julian Assange, that hacked into Hillary's unauthorized computer server and made public Hillary's eMail trove.
