I Went Back To Windows 7

I had to get a new computer, mine died on me. Well, it didn't quite die but it did become so slow that I could have sent something by snail mail and it would have gotten there before an email.
Anyway, when I bought the laptop I made sure that it had Windows 7 on it. I had more problems with Windows 10 than I wanted to deal with.
I am now happy as a clam. I can go on, get done what I need to do, and move on to the next thing. I understand what is going on on my computer, know where to go and what to do. I am loving it.
Are you a fan of Windows 10 or do you want to be back with Windows 7? I guess I am getting old and set in my ways. Windows 10 seemed to be harder for me.

windows 10 self-installed'n my puter one day whilst i t'was out feedin' horses. i typically don't leave my puter'n, but figured i'd ferget to check my email if'n i didn't. (i'm prone to that 't t'was waitin' fer somethin' special)
there t'was a few hiccups that first eve, nothin' major, jest a blinkin' constant'n the lower tool bar. the next day't took me nearly 4 hours to e'en get the puter to boot 'p. but, 'fter i'd accomplished such a feat, 'gain, t'was jest that toolbar hiccup. the 3rd day, i got not e'en a hint 'f life - jest a black screen from the start. took me nearly 8 hours to get 'nto the puter! i promptly switched back to windows 7.
i'm surprised ya were able to find one that still ran windows 7.

@crazyhorseladycx I love a good deal. I do feel sorry for those that are unable to get themselves back to the Windows of their choice.

Now that I have learned how to navigate Windows 10 I don't mind it at all. I think it would be hard for me to go back to Windows 7 now. I have heard too that not using 10 can mean you may have problems interacting with some sites. They are set up for Window 10 and not 7.

@HazySue ......I heard the same and also do not like change. I do like to be up to date on what I do online though. Makes it easier.

@celticeagle I guess it does make it easier to be up to date . If only it didn't take so much time for me to larn and remember.

Windows 10 doesn't give me any problem. At work we have Windows 7, which was a pretty good substitute for winXP. These two have been my all time favorites.

I had been using Windows 10 since June and so far, I don't see any problem. My boyfriend who helped me find a good laptop also make sure that the processor and memory of my laptop are fast. The hard disk has big space too. So, I think that there is no reason for my laptop to be very slow.

I like Windows 10. But I had to get a new computer monitor last week and I have some trouble hooking it up. But everything's fine now.
