Hey guys, first of all thank you so so much for responding to my post. When I first posted I wasn't quite sure if I would be getting any kind of response but when I checked I was so happy and excited at the same time. XD Okay so, 'An Ecstatic Star' is a poem that I recently wrote on behalf of those who have passed away.. I hope you all like it. When I'll be gone, Don't walk up to my grave holding a rose, With tear drained face, a stung heart and blemished cheeks, Your helpless cries won't bring me back as that is how it goes, A truth hard to swallow as in the edge of a doleful screech. Keep me in the photographs and not in the heart, Cause I'm a long lost tressure that has sailed away ever so far, But if you miss me and feel the emptiness creep, All you've to do is gaze up at me and there I am with the millions, forming into an ecstatic star. Wanting to claim the impossible from the very depth of the core, As weep becomes the sole thing to do in the memory of mine, Don't unheed the long known, slowly fading away along the floor, What has gone shall never return, then strikes you when you let the darkness upon you dine. __________ Thank you for taking your time to read. :))
