I've always had this theory, that multitasking isn't so great!! I mean from personal experience, when I multi task I often times end up with projects that get started but not finished. Or some times when I'm multi tasking I forget what I'm doing. At first I thought it was just old age. Then I realized that it happens to other people as well.
Well, we're NOT old or losing our minds...there's proof that multi tasking isn't necessarily productive because of those reasons that I mentioned above. I'm going to leave a link where you can read it for yourself.

UCSF neuroscientist Adam Gazzaley says our brains can't multitask, and when we try to force them to, we lose focus.

I am a big time multitasker, not because I want to be productive, just because I like being able to think about multiple things at once. I know I should just sit down and work on one thing at a time, but no, instead I have 12 tabs open and many word documents open.

That is a shame for I was taught to multitask very young. It would be very hard to stop now. Especially when I feel productive doing it.

Well, I only do multi tasking when I feel to and when it's necessary. The last I got sick because of multi tasking
