I remember singing that song every time the Mickey Mouse Club show presented itself on the television. In South Africa we got the program about 2 years later so when Britney spears appeared on Mickey Mouse Club she was already a singing soloist in real life and the same goes for Justin Timberlake.
This wonderful Mini Mouse postcard popped into my postbox today all the way from the USA - @Jeanniemaries Thank You - fabulous card and such a special lot of stamps as well.
I would love to visit any Disney World and was close to the one in Paris, but alas never got to go. I imagine it must be a child's dream to walk with the Characters that Keep Children's imaginations going for longer than we think.
Have you ever been to any Disney World and what have you enjoyed the most when doing so? Snow White and the seven dwarfs would be my first choice, thereafter anything would do.

I was such a fan of the Mickey Mouse Show. Annette was my favorite, I watched it until it went off the TV... Never been to Disney World, might like it a lot if i ever get the chance.

@Inlemay To tell you the truth, my husband worked in a field that was full of crowds so in his retirement he avoids them and thrust me, Disney is a mass of people wandering around. Hurry up and wait for your turn is not my idea of a fun time either. I just looked it up and 6 years ago the average number of people there per day was 52,964...see what I mean?

@PainsOnSlate I totally understand - I am not sure if I would like that kind of mass of people

Nope I have never been to Disneyland. This may sound weird that I never cared about Disneyland like other kids when I was young.Perhaps, I was not into cartoons growing up. But now that I've become a mom, suddenly I want to go to disneyland and Everland

Oh, I missed seeing this! I was getting ready for Disney! So glad you got it! I love Alice in Wonderland best of all the Disney Characters. Just returned from another visit with my daughter and sister in law and niece. I love seeing the characters walk about. This time around I had my photo taken with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother and the step sisters (who argued between themselves over who was the prettiest and who got to get a picture first. All in fun! Prince Charming was VERY charming and I decided I wanted a fairy godmother for myself. Cinderella was lovely. It was a Character dinner at the Grand Floridian Restaurant at Disney World.

@Inlemay I hope you are feeling better now. It's difficult to keep up when one is not feeling well or as we all do, get into a whirl of activities. I have been very sporadic with my time here on myLot so it's a little hard to catch up. I sent out 10 postcards on Monday and received five in the mail! Of course four of the 10 went to my grandchildren. But it had been a bit dry for awhile and my mail box (barn) was not a happy place! But it was because I was a bit behind there as well. I am already excited about Christmas postcards and can't wait to get started on writing them. I'm going to look to see if I can order some today.
