Sometimes at bedtime I drink a coffee that has Valerian root in it. I haven't decided if it helps me sleep or not.

paigea Valerian root can't really be mixted with coffee, because they would counteract with each other, coffee keeps you awake and Valerian helps to relax and put you to sleep. You have to take Valerian root as a loner.

@paigea everybody are different, you might be better with camomile or ashwaganda, Lavander, you'll see which one suit ''you'' . Because one herb helps me it doesn't mean it will do the same to you, that's why you have to try others and see what works for You.

@beenice2 This is called Counting Sheep Coffee. It is decaffeinated coffee with Valerian root in it. It doesn't keep me awake, but I can't really tell if it helps me sleep.

Letranknight25 they sell it in caps. too so it is easier to get than just the root, unless you would try to grow it yourself, so yes you can go to a health store and find it there.
