Somewhere in Paradise

Like many other things music and songs give me inspiration. On this first day of getting used to the change of clocks and one day before Halloween I began to philosophize. It is a lovely song with a touching melody “Somewhere in Paradise” by Baccara. The lyrics are all about the parting of ways until two loving people meet again up above. I know it is a subject many would rather not discuss but it is also a fact of life. When things get me down and these thoughts come crowding in I amuse myself to think that someday I will just pop up above nothing I can do will change that. Popping up above then makes me chuckle and soon I have forgotten my darkest thoughts. So listen to this wonderful and touching song. Meanwhile – let’s live, let’s live till one day we meet somewhere in paradise. A conversation somewhere beyond the clouds when people have met online but only knew their chosen user names. Hello. Did we ever meet before? No, only online. Oh, yes I remember now. You were Flying Geese and I was Swimming Duck. Come walk with me and let’s catch up. For this reason I am always glad that I know the real names of a great many of my online friends and it makes me feel as though I have known them most of my life. That is also why even though there are some sites where I still have to use chosen online user names because I registered so long ago and could no longer change the name I now use my real first two names RasmaSandra. That way now whenever I write anything or create some poetry everyone knows that it truly is my own creation. Well enough of bending your ear. Enjoy life and every minute of it and hope you all have a great Sunday.

I use my own names too but sometimes wonder if it's wise. I can't see that there is much danger in it for me.

@JudyEv I think it's no problem and I think that perhaps then people realize you are serious about your writing and not hiding behind an unusual name. One place I would up a Gypsy Rose Lee because I liked the name but now I cannot change it and the only good thing is that everyone there knows my real name So I now put down my Two first names.

@RasmaSandra I agree that Gypsy Rose Lee is a good name. I don't know what I'd choose if I wanted something different.
