Daylight Saving Time Ended This Morning

I forgot to re-set my clock last night, but no worry, since I have an extra hour this morning and I’m happy about that. I have to make a dessert for this afternoon. I’ve been invited to a friend’s house to play “Spades.” They come to my house sometimes, but this time I’m going to their house. So, now I have some extra time to bake the Brownies and Pumpkin Bread. I couldn’t decide which one to bake, so I decided to make both. That way they will have a choice. I need to get started on the day, but it’s still early. I’m glad. I DO know though that it will get dark early. I don’t like that aspect of Daylight Saving Time. I’m going to their house at 4PM, so I know it will be dark when I have to drive home. Do you have Daylight Saving Time where you live?

I am not looking forward to the shorter days. I will be dark when I get home from work now. Enjoy your evening out with friends. The desserts sound really good.

I wish Daylight Saving Time would cease. I don't see the point. We aren't a farm dominated country any more.

@IreneVincent No, we don't have daylight saving in our country. The only time we adjust the clock is when it runs out of battery. By the way what purpose or benefit do you get by adjusting time for daylight saving?
