Marvin, the Martian appeared in 1948 in a cartoon entitled "Haredevil Hare". There are ten men who did his voice from 1948 until 2015. Mel Blanc was the longest running and then Joe Alaskey. Eric Bauza and Damon Jones are the most recent. The martian with an attitude. Chuck Jones created this character for Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes cartoons to make a different type of villain from the usual ones. They had gotten tired of Bugs Bunny outsmarting Yosemite Sam. Marvin, the martian is funny and evil and quiet. Soft-spoken even. Competent and clever. He is bugged by Daffy and Bugs who want to turn him into subatomic space dust. He has a dog named K-9. Earth is called "United Earth" and Marvin, the martian wants to annihilate it because it obstructs his view of Venus.
