The End is in Sight

Less than twelve hours from now the polls will open and Americans will have their voice in this election. We've heard their voices for months now, and soon it will be over.
In the past two days I've gotten political calls. Of course I hung up on the person as soon as I heard her say political. I refuse to talk to them.
A lot of people have had the opportunity to vote already. Are you among that number or will you be going to the polls tomorrow. I expect the lines will be long. I do not envy the poor poll workers who will be very busy tomorrow.
You have a voice. Make it count tomorrow.
Thanks for reading.

I'm sure the lines will be VERY long tomorrow but I'll be glad when it's all over. Not only has my phone been ringing but people are ringing my doorbell to get in that last push for their candidate

It has been a tough day at our house. My daughters and granddaughters called me in tears all day today. They are heartbroken and so discouraged that such a cruel, uncaring, insensitive man could be moving into the White House, despite losing the popular vote. One of them is married to a successful scientist and she begged him this morning to accept a job in another country. They may move ... and take two of my grandchildren with them. The Trump supporters who are gloating literally make me want to vomit.

@enlightenedpsych2 That is good. I only got two calls, and that was more than enough. I hung up on both.

@Marilynda1225 I live in a secure building that is also no soliciting, so no one has rung my bell. Good thing, the phone was bad enough.

Yes, I hope that everyone gets out there and votes tomorrow! I was able to vote two weeks ago, and I love being able to do it early. Such a relief to be able to just sit back and watch the polls tomorrow.

@just4him - I'm so sad that such an immoral man was elected by people who claimed to be Christians. He lost the popular vote, but won the electoral votes. It has been a sad day for my family. My daughters and granddaughters called me in tears all day today. They are heartbroken and so discouraged that such a cruel, uncaring, insensitive man could be moving into the White House, despite losing the popular vote. @DeborahDiane I'm sorry your daughter could be moving away because of this. I do agree with you. I didn't vote for him. I didn't vote for her either. I voted third party.

@DeborahDiane yes ma'am, i did. i wish that'cha could's well, hon. whilst i aint thrilled, i've great hopes - more so than i'd felt with her. we don't need more welfare handouts 'n the dumbin' down 'f americans. we need to rebuild our infrastructures, buy back our own soil 'n stand'n our feet once more. such cannot be accomplished'n jest 4 years, but can be started. if'n congress allows such anyhow. i'd really hoped fer a thorough house cleanin', but money talks 'nstead 'f truth.

@crazyhorseladycx - I know you voted for a third party candidate. I just wish I could feel better about Trump. It has been a rough day at our house.

It has been fascinating to watch the debates and attempt to understand your system there. My American friends say they are making the best of a bad job when they go to vote... No wonder the rest of us are waiting the outcome a little anxiously....

All voting in Oregon is done by mail or drop off and we love it. We voted about two weeks ago.

@JamesHxstatic - We voted about two weeks ago, too. They should make that option available across the U.S., especially in states where the weather can be bad in November. Today was a rough day in our family. My daughters and granddaughters called me in tears all day today. They are heartbroken and so discouraged that such a cruel, uncaring, insensitive man could be moving into the White House, despite losing the popular vote. @DeborahDiane My daughter-in-law worked in the Clinton White House and was an avid supporter of her run for President. As ill as I am, she is devastated. I think most Democrats are, but we will have to ride it out and hope for the best. I can't stand that disgusting, pompous, lying, ignorant, megalomaniac. The people of Palm Beach strongly dislike him. He files lawsuits right and left. My son's inlaws live here in CT, but also live in one of his buildings in NYC. They see him often and think he is so full of himself, he may explode! You are right about the Trump supporters. Even here, I choose not to comment on their discussions. Lol! Shhhhh.
