dealing with life

It is not the load of life that breaks you down...it is the way you carry it...
All have multiple problems in life but it is only their attitude towards their problems that is the main concern...
Some can carry loads of problems with a smiling face and some can crib endlessly about petty things....
How do you take your problems?

Problems are problems , there is no denying that it can be stressing.
I don't want too much stress , so when i have a problem , i deal with it right away . If i cannot do it myself i ask the help of my husband or even my family and ask for the help of God .
That way , i am not stressed so much because i have others to help me but most of all i have offered it to God for the last act .

It's important to train ourselves to have right attitude during problems. I battle with a lot of problems and I also ask the help of God to make me strong and wise

@amitkokiladitya Sometimes I feel so bad about my problems but then i used downward comparison and I see others have more difficult problems than I am so I began to realize I'm still lucky

@averygirl72 this is the most appropriate way...we all face problems.
Its just the dealing which is different

I have heard this idea about our attitude shaping our view of life many times.
Is it really helpful though; has our attitude really got anything to do with anything?
What is attitude anyway?
I feel it is more our ways of thinking, not attitude, that needs to be changed, but does our way of thinking create our attitude then, or is it more the other way around?
Is attitude part of our thinking, or more a feeling then?
Attitude is a product of love, and of the amount of love that you see anything with. Thoughts are something else, and they are products not of love, but more of your own being or soul.
Our thoughts make who we are but attitude cements who we are into love, whereas thoughts, on their own, seen as only thoughts, can lead you away from love, when you label them as being either negative or positive, but really it is our attitude that labels them as such.
A thought is just a thought, nothing more and nothing less.
It is our feeling about each thought which adds the label of negative or positive to it or the colour of white or black to it.

@amitkokiladitya "solely" is a big thing to say to my mind.
If this was entirely so, where do our feelings fit in, because I think feelings fuel thoughts, and thoughts create feelings. They are linked together, I think.
Attitude sits upon love like a rock on sand if your thoughts and feelings do not support it, but when your attitude is being fueled by love, your rock is no longer a rock, but fluidly alive.
Attitude can then become anything that you want it to be via acceptance and flexibility of being, and your foundation is then no longer sand either, but it then becomes solid, not unlike a rock. You have turned your life around now in other words, by your having the right attitude, mixed together with flexible loving thoughts.

Nicely written.... But I feel I attitude is solely influenced by our thoughts

Our attitude decides our altitude and peace of mind.
Only a happy person can make another feel happy.
I do not complain about the loads I carry and how few are expert in unloading theirs on others; our varied experiences enrich our lives - siva

@Shiva49 Happiness, I think, is mostly internal, it lives within our hearts, but the flame of our happiness can add to the flame of another person's, even lighting it again, if it has gone out.
I have always liked this quote from Albert Schweitzer, the great German Theologian, (14/01/1875 to 04/09/1965).
"At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us."
And this is another good quote too:
"A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle."
This one is from James Keller, an American minister, and writer, (27/06/1900 to 07/02/1977).

@amitkokiladitya Thanks, our mothers had to accept the rubbish unloaded by their children and their partners even!
That is why their love is special, one of a kind, that their children can never reciprocate - siva

I try to avoid them; however, in the event I have to carry a load, I try to shake those problems away as soon as I possible

@amitkokiladitya Depends on the issue and how I'm feeling really. Sometimes I can tackle problems and find a solution while other times I completely break down and have no idea how to fix everything including myself.
