Teacher conference / myLot

The other day husband went to our daughters teacher conference. They went through eveything and see where she falls in her class. Over all she is a great student and is very good. She needs a little work on her independ work and getting started. The teacher said she needs more of a little nudge then the other kids in her classes but once she gets it going she is good. She can count to 30 but she is holding back because she can count to almost 50 with o help at home. She is at a 50 when it comes to words and reading which is above where most students in her classes are at. She needs to be at 68 by the end of the year but because she is doing so well they placed her in the morning reading classes in the library before school starts once a week. Which she started two weeks ago. She has a list of words she recongize she and can read to you. Mommy and daddy are very proud of her.

You are one proud parent and you have every right to be proud. Just let her know how proud you are of her and she will go far when you are behind her.

We told her we where happy that she is doing well and that it's okay do things on your own and don't worry where the other kids are at if you can do more then do more if not that is okay.
