Short Days, Long Nights

What do you do to cheer yourself up when the daylight grows shorter and the nights longer? The darkness and often gray days make me feel uninterested in doing anything.
How do you cope with that? Does it bother you? What do you do during that long dark time?

I don't mind the dark or gray days, I actually thrive better. =)

I struggle with these shorter days too. I leave for work just when it is getting light and by the time I get home it is already dark. All the time I am at work the sun is shining. I try to get outside for at 20 mins everyday to enjoy some sunlight.

@akalinus it is the same way here. I get home at 5pm and it is already dark.
