Another Productive Day

Setting goals is an excellent way to get things accomplished.
I often set unrealistic goals, and then end up discouraged and disappointed in myself. Today, I set some achievable goals and accomplished all of them.
The laundry needed to be tackled. The weather was windy, so hanging everything out on the clothesline, meant it was all dry by noon. I brought it in, folded it and put it away. Big checkmark, done!
Supper was planned in advance. Pea soup, in the crockpot, so little work during the day, but oh the wonderful aroma. Quiche and a salad rounded out the meal.
Grocery shopping was done and then I could spend some time at my sewing machine. The toddler pyjamas are finished as well as the matching bathrobe.
I sent photos to my daughter. She is pleased.
Let's see if tomorrow can be equally productive.

@JudyEv there are many clothes that get hung up in the house in the winter. Sometimes it is just too cold to be hanging things up outside.

Often in November it can hang out all day and still be damp. It's great that I haven't had to use the dryer yet. I know winter is coming.

@Morleyhunt I have a dryer but don't often have to use it. Even in winter I hang clothes under the verandah then finish them off in front of the fire.

I use the clothesline as much as possible. All in an attempt to keep the electricity bills affordable. I also like the smell of line dried clothes.

@Morleyhunt I like the smell too. I use it all winter if it goes above freezing. Alberta is very dry, luckily.

Thank you. They are for my daughters niece. They were supposed to be made last year....I purchased the fabric a year ago, then life got in the way. At least it's finished now.

Those pj's look really nice. My Mom used to sew all of my clothes and they looked really nice on me. I loved it.

My unrealistic goals keep me too busy at times. But, I get more done than some.
