Still reading magazines?

Yesterday, I took advantage of my day off and went to the capital town for some shopping. One of the items I bought was a magazine which I can't reach in near to the place I am living. There are a few magazines of literature which I pretty love to read. Their exist also online, but the content is not exactly the same as the online version is cut off, incomplete and it's not the current version. It seems like they public partly an older version. So, I rather prefer to get the paper version once a month. Do you still read any kind of magazines?

I used to read magazines but I don't now. The only time Imight read a magazine is while waiting at the hair-dressers. I would much rather have a paper copy than read it online.

The magazines at the hair-dressers are usually reduced to hair cuts here in Spain. I rarely find something interesting there.

@Meramar They have women's magazines with stories about celebrities and royalty. I'd never buy them myself.

Not really, I buy time by time cooking and gardening magazines that are the only ones that I find interesting. I do not care about gossip.

Cooking and gardening magazines are practical. I only buy literary magazines about new books, authors, writing skills....

In the past I read some magazines about computer. Today I haven't bought or read magazines for quite a long time. It seems it is not so necessary for me to read them now. As I can learn a lot of new information via the net easily. If I have to read, I prefer to read books much more.

we subscribe to Handyman magazines - there are only about 6 issues a year and full of good ideas for DIY home improvements.

That would be rare here! Sometimes while waiting in an office for someone there might be some magazines to read.

You are right. That's very usual, for example, in medical centres or clinics and hairdressers.

I have subscriptions to a number of magazines. This past week I also bought a copy of the Economist. I thought its overview of the US election result would be useful.
