Still No Luck

I have told you all about the one Facebook group I had joined that has tons of giveaways, sweepstakes, and deals. I try my hardest to make sure i do everything i can to better my chances for winning but still no luck. I am getting pretty discouraged and I know I haven't been there long and shouldn't be feeling like that but I am considering unjoining and just forgetting about it.
What do you guys think? How long do you give a group or program or whatever that gives you a chance to win? After how much time do you just finally give up?

I have never won anything in my life so I never join a group expecting to win. I just look at it as its all in fun. I have had much luck. Other people win things all the time it seems.

Its pretty hard to win then again I don't join many giveaways. I hope you win sometime =)

I used to be a regular 'comper'. I would enter at least 10 competitions (but often many more) per day and I was averaging one win a week. I did hit the big time quite a few times winning things like a holiday to LA (from the UK), a cruise to Amsterdam, several gaming computers etc but eventually it started becoming harder to win because everyone started to enter and my chances of winning became much lower. I would perhaps try and find out how many people enter these sorts of competition groups you are involved in. The lower the entrants the more chance you have to win. I think social media competitions tend to attract a lot more entrants that competitions on websites or offline. There are some sites like Loquax or other forums where people alert you to random competitions online which may give you a better chance. I personally don't comp anymore because my wins went down to about one a month which I didn't think was worth all of my time.
