Google Chrome issues

So I am stuck using FireFox until I figure out what the heck is going on with Google Chrome. It keeps making these weird pop ups (which mind you are blocked) and some say "Update Google Chrome" (which is updated already) and "denied833.com." I just don't get it. I uninstalled and reinstalled Google Chrome and it is all still happening. So I am just going to use FireFox for a while. I didn't download anything suspicious and my malware shows nothing when scanned. If anyone can figure it out, let me know, but until then, I am stuck with FireFox. Thanks
