A Knock on the Door

I did not realize that I was dreaming. I don't remember what I dreamed about but it was stressful and upsetting. My heart raced and I had trouble breathing. I was so scared that I thought I would die if this continued. Then came a knock on the door. Just one loud rap, but it woke me up. No one was there, there were no vehicles near my house. I knew that I woke from a dream. My breathing and heart rate quickly became normal. I think an angel woke me up. What do you think? Is that possible? Do you have any stories involving angels?

I believe in Angels and I am sure an Angel woke you up. My guardian Angel stopped us on a almost deserted road one night. Both my husband and I saw a glowing figure in front of the car and my husband stopped. We got out and nobody was there. We continued our trip and a mile from where we stopped a cat had lost control and had crashed on our lane. If we did not stop, the car surely would have hit our car.

I'm sure you're right. I've woken suddenly from a dream as well to find nothing out of the ordinary, but swore I heard a knock or the phone ring.

It was the middle of the night. I usually don't have people knock then. I don't answer the door at night when I am home alone. The last time that happened was somebody drunk had the wrong house.

You are your own angel, dreams definitely makes your conscious unbalanced but just a little warning before you start the day.Always think good for yourself and be happy.

Sometimes when I wake up from a bad dream I still see or feel it, but then I realize that I was dreaming that too

I cannot say what happened but glad that it was a dream and you're ok. I remember this Bible verse. Psalm 34:7 American Standard Version (ASV) 7 The angel of Jehovah encampeth round about them that fear him, And delivereth them.

I know for sure that it was a knock at the door. It could not have been anything else. I checked and there was no one there and no vehicle outside of my house.
