I know I should wait...

Nov 22, 2016 ...but I want to crow! Why? Because I've already started wrapping gifts for the giving season. I probably should wait to crow, but I'm just busting with joy that this "chore" is on its way to being done. Last year I was a stressed-out mess because I was prevented by factors out of my control from getting the season off to the best start. I was wrapping gifts almost up to the very last minute. But, fingers crossed, this year I'll be done early and have time to actually relax and enjoy the holidays. Have you started your yearly holiday frenzy? Or do you wait until the last minute?

@LadyDuck I used to love wrapping gifts but in recent years it seems to have become a chore. Starting early helps relieve the stress of the impending deadline.

I also buy all year, but the wrapping part I need to improve upon. Maybe next year....

I don't wrap my gifts anymore but use the Christmas bags. My arthritis in my fingers makes it difficult and that's why.

I like the bags! Thank goodness I can still wrap gifts, even though last year I griped about it a lot. I should count my blessings

I'd be crowing too! How smart is that? It does take a lot of pressure off to have some of these things sorted ahead of time.

I do my best, not always 100% successful, then I look at anything I've done (and I mean anything, even just digging out wrapping supplies) as progress, lol.

@blitzfrick I often work to a list and have been known to do something, then add it to my list just so I can cross it off. :)

@JudyEv HAH! I've done that too. In fact, I've lately reversed the process with a little notebook I've titled "What I did today". Also, when I grocery shop, I take a list and will add items to it and cross them off as I shop.

Nothing wrong with being prepared. I'm a person that is a mixture of early and the last minute haha depends on how distracted I am.
