Are you sure that one should drink water before meal or of sure that it should be after a meal? This is really a confusing aspect which many people can not decide upon after reading and taking the opinions of many doctors and health and Diet practitioners. But the following points needs your observation to take a decision on the right method;
Taking water before a meal makes one feel stomach full and the person who drinks water before meals can not eat the required quantity of food. This is because water is a coolant
Taking water after meals not only affects the quality of the food but also the digestive strength. This leads to obesity as the coolant effect is transferred to whatever food you have consumed.
But, the Indian Ayurveda recommends drinking water in between the meals. It recommends that it is the safest method of taking water in between the meals as each and every particle of the food will be fragmented and makes the digestive system to easily digest the food particles. This method also gives relief from getting thirst.
Recently there are also some people who are spreading a very peculiar statement that one should not drink or take water one hour after finishing meals and should not drink water before or in between the meals Let us think in terms of the logical grounds and take a decision as there are many quacks who are reaching out only to gain popularity
