How Batman Could Beat Superman without Kryptonite - Getting Superman Away From The Sun

The battle drags on. Metropolis already looks like King Kong just passed through. Batman has just about crawled out of the rubble alive. His back aches worse than when Bane broke it. Superman has destroyed Batman’s kryptonite supplies. As he recovers Batty gets advice from wise old Alfred on some of Superman’s other known weaknesses. One that the trusty old Bat-Computer throws up is good old sunlight. Superman is a walking advert for solar power energy conservation. His powers come entirely from proximity to our yellow sun. Back on Krypton, which was illuminated and heated by a red sun, the Kryptonians had no super-powers at all. Superman has frequently found his strength weakening considerably when his missions have taken him away from our solar system. All well and good, thinks Batman, but even with Bruce’s billions he can’t afford his own spaceship for zapping Superman to another Galaxy. What he needs to do is in some way cover Superman in substances that will block out the effects of yellow sunlight, trap his already stored energy or simulate the red-sun effects that can counter-effect and neutralize such potent forces within Superman’s pseudo-scientific bio-chemistry. It was depletion of Superman’s battery reserved solar power that let Doomsday kill him once, but Doomsday did that by fighting Superman to exhaustion in one on one unarmed combat – Batman could never endure that. Green Lantern might be able to help, except he has a weakness around yellow himself. Oops. Batman might try creating an artificial environment of made up-red-sun radiations to trap Superman in, again securing a temporary weakening of the mighty titan’s powers before Superman finds a way to bust free for further mayhem. @arthurchappell was like he did that normally, and this time just removed what the sun had added to plants to heal.

Batman is rather devious and Superman is always doing good. I think Superman would win just for good sake.

Batman is pretty resourceful. If anyone can find a way, I'm sure he can.
