Someone Is Shooting A Gun 11-24-2016
I’m sitting here at my computer and I keep hearing a gun being fired. It actually woke me up this morning. I live out on a country road, but there are plenty of houses around.
This is not the first time I have heard someone firing a gun. I don’t know if there is a TARGET practicing area near here or what. I intend to find out though. It’s very disturbing to me.
I’ve heard the gun being fired this morning about ten times so far. I’d really like to know what is going on. It’s Thanksgiving Day. Maybe it’s a “Turkey Shoot.”
They don’t shoot turkeys. They shoot at targets and win frozen turkeys.
So I’ve heard.

Do you own kangaroos or they wild near where you live? Do people (poachers) hunt them?

@JudyEv I wondered about that. The little joeys are so cute. I have only seen them at the zoo. It would be amazing to see them in the wild. I have always wanted to visit Australia.

@IreneVincent They are just wild. You need a licence to shoot them and in our area I don't think anyone would take the chance of shooting them on our land.

The gunshots finally stopped and I didn't hear any sirens. So, I suppose it's shooting at targets. I might inquire about it later.
