Day of Parades

Just finished watching two parades. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was great! I loved the way it started with the Muppets. I didn't know most of the singers in the parade and not watching much TV I wasn't familiar with the stars of the various television shows. However, I did enjoy all the floats, balloons, clowns and everyone who always makes that parade special.
I also saw the Green Bay Holiday Parade. Looks like I didn't miss it after all. The parade was actually live last Saturday and shown today, immediately following the Macy's parade on another channel. It was interesting to watch the snowflakes flying during the parade when there aren't any yet today. Though they are expected. Here's hoping.
They also had a couple of balloons show up, notably the Grinch and a gingerbread man.
So while I forgot about the parade last Saturday, I got a chance to see it, enjoying both from the comfort of my new recliner.
I hope your day is going well and you are all having a wonderful, safe, and Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in the US and a great day to all those not celebrating today.
Thanks for reading.

How nice. I turned from the parade to watch a few episodes of The Big Bang Theory. The dog show was on before the parade.

@just4him .....Oh, that's interesting how the different stations in different areas schedule things.

@celticeagle I would have thought that with both being live events that it wouldn't have that kind of time factor.

My late X wasn't either. I missed a lot of parades while I was married.

Thank you. Yes, it was so comfortable I almost fell asleep in it a couple times during the parade.

I hope dinner was good. I'm just about caught up. Not very active today because of the holiday.
