It Was A Warm Day Today 11-24-2016 I stayed busy putting all my jewelry away for the weekend. I’ve got company coming tomorrow, so I put it all away. That took most of the day and then I made some stuffed peppers for dinner tonight and that warmed up the house nicely. It wasn't really cold. It is still comfortable in the house so, I won’t be turning on my electric blanket either. It’s almost 11PM so I’m going on to bed. My company should arrive about noon and we are all going out to eat tomorrow evening and then maybe play some cards. Saturday we will be having dinner at my daughter’s house. The weather is supposed to be nice for the rest of the weekend. Then, I think we will be getting some much needed rain. You may have heard about all the forest fires burning in the Southeast states. Mostly in the mountains. We have not been affected by it here. Thousands of acres being destroyed and they are saying that it’s ARSON.

I always hate to hear of arson attacks. It must be so difficult to catch these dreadful people.

Why do people do such things? I wonder who is really behind this and so many other things that are happening everywhere?

When someone sets a fire on purpose that is really wrong.

It just doesn't make sense. My thought is that there are people who come to this country for the purpose of causing such things to happen. If they are caught, perhaps we will find out their reasons.

If they find the arsonists, I'm perfectly okay with locking them up for 50 years. By the way, the photo is gorgeous.

Whoever is setting the fires hopefully will be caught. In the meantime, the destruction continues and lives are in danger, not to mention the firemen who are working overtime to put out the fires and risking their lives to do it.

Lovely photo. Love the fall colors. Well that just is so stupid. How could anyone destroy so much. People just don't think and they also endanger the lives of people. Sure hope they get who did it and I would say burn them on a spit but of course they still have a right to a trail but I would rather make them into marshmallows. Hope you get that rain you need. Our weather is still unusually warm and I'm worried that might turn around and then we'll be buried under a mound of snow.

Some arsonists, according to what I've heard, just enjoy setting things on fire and watching them burn. They get a thrill from doing it. Others, I think, have a more political or perhaps vengeful reason to do such things. Sadly, this world is producing all sorts of people who are destructive on purpose.

I'm looking forward to my company. They will be here soon. The FALL season here is beautiful, but it's SAD that the forests are burning because of someone deliberately setting the fires.

Yes, the FALL season is beautiful here, but much of the forests are being burned up by arsonists who have deliberately set the fires. SAD.
