Apps, Apps and More Apps!

Watch out! There are gazillions of apps out there now days. The news today said that 40% of sales today were on apps. Target saw a 200% rise in the purchase of apps. But, beware! Crooks are looking for the stores who don't have apps and are setting up fake ones. So be sure to only download your store apps from the store itself, not from an app store. Good idea, huh? So you don't get a fake app.

thanks for reminding me to be more careful. there are also other apps that seem dangerous. i tried to load an app from AMC movie channel to check out that humanoids show you was talking about and my computer went blank/blue screen, etc. had to reboot after turning it off a while. guess i will wait till it comes on netflix or something. or if i can ever afford cable again.

@celticeagle i did and it ask me to download an app. or at least i think it was them. not sure what happened but afraid to try now,

Never downloaded a fake a app. I always check reviews and ratings. Also, i download popular and useful apps.

I am weary about using apps to purchase things with. The only time I purchase anything with an app is if it's an in - game (app) purchase.
I can understand the appeal of the app, but it's not something I ever see myself using to purchase with.
