Until a friend spoke about buying Blue Emu cream, I had forgotten I have something else that works to relieve my pain. I have some Outback Pain Relief.
It is a topical treatment that includes Tea Tree Oil and Eucalyptus.
Years ago I use Blue Emu cream. It was only mildly helpful if at all.
This Outback Pain Relief is very effective for me, and works quickly.
I buy it on Amazon, but I think it is available at CVS Pharmacy. It is also made with vanilla and that is basically what you smell when you use it.
It also makes my leg feel good.

@fishtiger58 The little 50 ml roll on is $19.95, but both times I have ordered it, I have had a coupon code. You can order it on Amazon or on their website. If there is a coupon code it will pop up when you search. I would say the roll on bottle lasted at least six weeks or longer. This method of application is sparing, but effective.

I tried it once with a coupon and I am sold. My doctor is skeptical, but it sure helps.

There is a mystique to those of us in the states about anything from "down under", and many products are named that way. There are other topicals in the stores that have those names, as well as shampoo and hair care products. The back story on "Outback Pain Relief" is that the US founder of the company got his recipe from an aborigine.

@JudyEv Yes, there is, and although it did help my "carpal tunnel syndrome" which was not carpal tunnel, I did not get relief until I began using a treatment that involved tea tree and lavender. That is why I also believe that this topical I use now works. I am a huge fan of tea tree for people who are not allergic.

@GardenGerty And is there emu oil in the 'Emu' products? Emu oil is used here in all sorts of products of the types you've mentioned.

I'm glad that you have a product that works for you. I have found that the CVS Pharmacy is well stocked with good products in medical and home food products.

I do not have a CVS near me. Since this is such a new product it is mostly online. I would LOVE to see it in all the pharmacy departments.

I'm pretty sure they're Australian products but I've never tried them... When it comes to topical treatment, I usually use Asian products... Right now I'm rubbing some Axe Brand Medicated Oil on my legs... It has Eucalyptus Oil too, and also Menthol and Essential Oil... It's supposed to somewhat relief minor aches and pains of muscle and joints...

The promotion indicates that the formula or recipe was discovered in the Outback.

@GardenGerty Yes, I think it has all natural ingredients and aboriginal healers were part of the team who created it...

I've used Two Old Goats in the past. It seemed to do a bit of good, but in general I don't find the topical stuff to be very good for relieving the fibro pain. The only thing I've tried that worked really well has been the peppermint essential oil, but I still haven't bothered figuring out how to cut the smell so I don't smell like a candy cane every time I use it.

I have not tried straight peppermint. In your case I would put lavender with the peppermint and put it in a carrier oil. Outback is well worth the money.

I bought Blue Emu cream hoping it would help my knee pain but it really didn't. Maybe I should try that Outback Pain Relief?

Blue Emu did not hurt, but did not help. It moisturized nicely. I believe Outback Pain Relief helps me. It is available from Amazon and from their website. Search for the term first and you should get a four dollar savings code or coupon.
