I usually throw some left over outside away from the building. Since than I have attracked some squirels, chickadee and blue jays.
The chickadees are the one that I will be able to hand feed soon. They are as scared as thaught they were. I would like to get them some suet for the winter so they are allright , I want to be able to see them from from my window.

We have a bird feeder and a suet feeder outside our window. We se a wide variety of birds. Chickadees are the smallest we see in the winter. We see a lot of hummingbirds in the spring and summer months.

Our Anna's hummer is around all winter here, so people are encouraged to keep feeding them. Hummingbird feeders are big sellers at the store where I work part-time.

Chickadees are great fun to watch. They love suet and sunflower seeds too.
