I did some research recently and found out some interesting facts about Goliath, this giant mentioned in the Bible.
What do you know about Goliath?
He was the giant that David killed with a slingshot, according to the Bible. He was about 9 feet (3 meters) tall. Have you ever read this account in the Bible?
Do you think that he really existed? Could there actually be someone that tall?
My research found that Goliath was only about 6 inches (15 cm) taller than the tallest man documented in modern times.

Many of the stories in the Bible (as in many books) are just metaphors. Who knows how tall is Goliath?! The important thing was that he was a menace, that noone dared fight with him and that David did.

I didn't know he was that tall, but then in those days real early in Biblical History, there were giants.
