To the Beach We Go - It is Mighty Cold Outside -
Yes indeed. Evidently, winter has arrived. Outside it is cold, wet, threatening, and all the rest of that stuff you can expect in early December here in North America. I must admit that where I live things are usually not all that cold and miserable, but we are such softies around here that temps of 50 degrees (F.) is, to us, like 10-below-zero is to those folks who live north of where we hold forth.
So, I got to thinking about how nice it would be to run off to visit some nice, sunny, and WARM beach. It would not matter too much where that beach might be, just as long as it sat there under a friendly sun, the waves pounding the happy shore, and the sand feeling good underfoot.
From my Media Graphics CD full of seashore pix came the makings of the seashore collage up above. Kind of makes a person want to be there, doesn't it?

I do not have to go to any beach - although beaches are all around me - as the sun visits us every single day almost even wanting to have breakfast with us

@allknowing - Always smiling - Has that morning sun that peeks into your plate ever eaten your morning Cheerios? -Gus-

@akalinus - Ms Jo Ann - The Mill Otter website is just your friend, Gus, making some fun with the name of our "MyLot" (MilLott..) place. I guess that I must be one of those nutty people who simply can't leave well-enough alone...

@youless - You are, of course, correct in what you say about visiting the beach of a winter's day. However, it you want to do some surf-fishing, or troll the beach for pretty shells, and so forth, winter time is the best time to go to the beach. -Gus-

@jaboUK - Ms Janet - Those who are nearby when you leave that nice place are then likely to drown in your tears. AND those pix are all from that commercial Media Graphics
CD that I bought years ago.(8 CDs in that package) The beach scenes are plentiful on the CD and make you wish you could visit. -Gus-
p.s.- Safe trip home !!!

@Plethos - If all the people are missing when the place gets cold, then that is why the earth's climate is in a cooling phase right now because all of those spots on the sun (caused by litterbugs no doubt) are now so very missing.

Love all those beach pictures Gus. Yes, I would love to be at the beach, but, since we do not have one in Jerusalem and we do not have a kiddie pool I just like to sit on our porch in nice weather and soak up the sun and when too much walk right inside the apartment.

.. Lovely collage.
