To the Beach We Go - It is Mighty Cold Outside - Yes indeed. Evidently, winter has arrived. Outside it is cold, wet, threatening, and all the rest of that stuff you can expect in early December here in North America. I must admit that where I live things are usually not all that cold and miserable, but we are such softies around here that temps of 50 degrees (F.) is, to us, like 10-below-zero is to those folks who live north of where we hold forth. So, I got to thinking about how nice it would be to run off to visit some nice, sunny, and WARM beach. It would not matter too much where that beach might be, just as long as it sat there under a friendly sun, the waves pounding the happy shore, and the sand feeling good underfoot.
