Inconsistent Internet Connection - freakin' AT&T!

I am having inconsistent internet connection for the past few days! I haven't called in yet but it gets quite annoying as I'm doing Swagbucks surveys and when the connection gets disconnected, I can't continue where I left off in the survey! The connection would get disconnected and restart immediately shortly, but five times a day is excessive! I may have to call tomorrow and have someone check out the lines or something. It is probably because the house across the street is moving and they probably disconnected their internet, so someone may have 'wiggled' our connection!
I'm very annoyed. How long do you wait before you make a call regarding Internet? I hope your internet connection is more steady than mines!

With my previous provider that was happening a lot. They used to mention several reasons (none which turned out to be true) for the connection problems. For example, too many electronics at home interfering with wifi network. When I switched to another internet provider the problem disappeared.
I would call them the first thing in the morning if I were you

It is morning still, 10 minutes shy of noon but I hate being on hold. It usually breaks my day because I always get a headache listening to their music / and waiting.
However, 3 days is enough with the inconsistency. I'm paying them money for what!? I will contact them tomorrow if this problem persists.

@Madshadi Yes its a free call - toll free number. I prefer in the early morning by now its a long call wait.

We don't have AT&T, but I did have trouble yesterday and one time a couple weeks back. Usually it comes back after a couple hours (I don't know why it happens exactly, but I figure something must be going on). But if it didn't come back on all day, then I would certainly make a call. Oh man, it has happened to me during surveys before - and I hated it because there was nothing I could do (super annoying when it was a survey worth a decent amount!).

The past few days, I've read a few members experiencing internet connection problems too! I'm sure its also because there are so many people using the network around too and we all depend on wifi/internet :)
Yeah I was so annoyed! I was doing surveys and was ALMOST finished too!

I've been on a roll for the surveys now! Even though the internet isn't all that works but every time I am doing a survey ~ I hope to not be disconnected and it is working :)

Ours will just stop without warning. Not sure why this happens either. I guess I should check with the provider to see why this happens.

I ended up checking ~ they said something is wrong with the line outside and a tech will come by tomorrow.

Someone yesterday was saying that AT&T was not doing a good job. I have had some issues with Swagbucks the last few days but I think it is my browser. Have you cleaned you browser data recently? Might help a bit.

@infatuatedbby ......I do SB surveys every few days. I don't qualify for many but still get 1 SB for trying up to 5-8 of them.

YES! I saw two posts regarding AT&T.

They said something is wrong with the lines outdoors and will send out a tech.
I also was transferred to a special line courtesy something because I was not happy with the price being increased 'again', they compromised me the original price I've been paying instead of the increase to $57 for 18mpbs. I hope you internet gets better ~ I'd just ask to be transferred to upper management if they can't help you out!

We are going to unplug and plug all the wires back into the router and hopefully won't encounter any more problems. If so, I will have contact them!

Yes indeed! I read two others the other day & I'm not alone! They're doing horrible =/ AND claiming theres an increase next month. Yeah right ~ I was transferred & compromised the same price I've been paying.

Tech #1 came said outdoor problem. Tech #2 came said it's indoor problem.
Tomorrow another Tech #3 will come.

I will call them tomorrow and tell them to forget it. I don't want strangers in the house. If they can't send someone with experience to fix our problem then don't come.
Right now our internet is working and if everyone keeps coming, opening / closing the line - I don't want to be OUT of internet. The tech #2, said when she checked the line outside the previous tech #1 forgot to put some screws back in or something like really?!

I don't have AT&T, but I have been having the same issue with my internet connection the past few days. It is very frustrating that it keeps going out, especially since it's only for a split second, but it's enough time to boot me off of whatever internet site I happen to be on at the time. Very frustrating!

YEAH - It is even though it doesn't take too long to start back up but it'll make my page go blank on whatever I've been doing and just so happens when I'm on Swags!
They are sending out a tech tomorrow afternoon ~ something is wrong with the lines 'outdoors'

@moffittjc 2 of his 3 techniques tried did not work and he is still getting an error. He said he will try one more time and if he can't fix the internet someone will come.

@infatuatedbby Luckily, it's an outdoor problem and not an indoor problem. They won't work on the cable lines inside the house, only the ones outside the house. Hopefully, they'll get your problem resolved quickly when they get there.

I have had to call them a few times, but so far its steady again.
I hate calling and waiting!
By the way, went to get gas today the TV commercial wasnt working at my stall :) ha

@infatuatedbby - when i called they did a test from thier end and it was determined the modem was the problem, repair guy came the next day and in about 20 minutes got a new one in its place and the internet was running like a beast. the screen on the gas stall wasnt working? see, your day is getting better.
