Day 93 Proverbs 14:1 Proverbs 14:1 Every wise woman builds her house: but the foolish plucks it down with her hands. 2 He that walks in his uprightness fears the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despises him. 3 In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them. Everyone wants to believe they have some measure of wisdom operating in their lives. They want to believe that everything they do will work out. Nobody wants to be classified with foolish and wicked people. Solomon saw what wisdom did for a person, building them up and bringing blessing in their lives. He also saw what foolishness and pride did for a person in breaking down their lives. One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is discernment. As Christians, when you employ discernment in your lives you will be able to stay away from the destructive forces Satan casts your way, and walk in wisdom. 1 Corinthians 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these works that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. Don’t let pride and foolishness destroy your life. Use discernment and wisdom to direct your path and you will always find God’s blessing on your life. Let’s pray: Father, help me use wisdom in my life so I will not fall victim to Satan’s destructive force. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.
