Have You Ever Drank Kefir?

Sharing another idea with you about something that many people have to deal with. A growling stomach, that could be an imbalance of stomach enzymes. Do you know what KEFIR is? After my cataract surgery, I had stomach problems caused from the steroids in the eye drops that got into my stomach. Even though I put the eye drops in my eyes, of course, the drops traveled down into my stomach and messed up the balance there. A lot of medicine can affect your GUT health, as they are now calling it. Kefir is not the tastiest to drink. They have it in different flavors, but I prefer the plain. It tastes to me like buttermilk and I can tolerate it. I purchase one bottle at a time and keep it refrigerated, of course. It has a long shelf life. Every day I take two or three swallows of the Kefir three or four times a day. It has really helped my stomach a LOT. So I will continue to drink it. Your GUT needs to be balanced. Many persons take probiotics but I don't like swallowing a lot of pills. I can tolerate the Kefir very well. I've gotten used to the taste and find that it has really helped me. VERY IMPORTANT! Always check with your doctor about any changes in diet.

I've heard of it, but I've never seen it. Hopefully it's available here.

Yes, I have. About a month ago, I've tried Lifeway's raspberry smoothie. It wasn't bad. Something different.

OK. I like the plain Kefir but I would probably like a smoothie made with it too.

This sounds like quite a good idea. You're right about needing to check with a doctor if you make drastic changes to your diet.

Yes, there's a lot of diets that can be harmful to persons with certain medical conditions, so it's always wise to check with your doctor. Fad diets can be harmful and even dangerous.
