What say we change the discussion?

I love how simple it is to connect on here, but I really don't think people care about my day. Lol Which is more than okay because literally nothing happens throughout my day pretty much except work. :) I tried sparking a discussion about capitalism (heavy stuff, I know) and someone told me that's not how things work around here. But I've decided until MyLot tells me so, I've seen nothing that says we can't discuss those heavier topics so I'm gonna try again. Would you rather talk about significant issues on here?

I'd rather have a post that makes me think than one that tells me what you had for breakfast - though there are plenty of people who can make that interesting too. Mylot needs a bit of all the different flavours of posts - the heavy, the apparently trivial and everything between. I'd say post what you like - if nobody picks it up, then try something different next time.

Ha, why you have to read every word. Was about to change this discussion until saw the sentence about capitalism. They all hate me, they are nice but seems that there is some back and forth on that. We need to talk about this and am the same way with significant issues. I do like the personal ones also because I like a diverse topics. We all do not need to talk about the world is ending, but at the same time not many do it.

What is a "significant issue" to one person may not be to another Lotter. Some might find it absolutely trivial. What decides a "significant issue" depends on so many factors. Do you consider this post to be about a "significant issue"?

I love discussing significant things and reading what other people think! I looked at your profile page and did not see any discussions like that, though. I would be interested to see what people think of capitalism; many people have the wrong idea about it and don't understand it while others do understand it and hate it/love it. I usually pass by discussions about someone's day or trivial things anyway.

It seems that almost anything goes and each is free to discuss what concerns them. So post away!

Significant issues are great, but I suppose knowing a bit about what the other person is doing adds a special binding atmosphere in the Mylot community.

Yes of course. How do you find Capitalism in contrast to Communism or Socialism?
